Manuela is an independent music artist, a soulful jazz vocalist, band leader entertainer, songwriter/composer/producer and multi instrumentalist (piano/guitar/ trumpet) based in UK.
Her live concerts include her original compositions and special arrangements of covers, featuring the performances of some of the best musicians on the London scene.
Growing up in Venice, Italy, born into a musical family, Manuela studied composition, classical counterpoint, jazz harmony, in her spare time, while attending high school in the daytime and singing covers in jazz bars and nightclubs at night.
She performed her own original music alongside Chaka Khan, John Legend, George Duke, Carleen Anderson, Xantone Blacq, Gino Vannelli, Joselyn Brown, Will Smith, Angie Stone, Joss Stone, to name a few.
After moving to UK in 2000 she was signed by Sony Publishing and worked as a backing vocalist for some years for a list of international superstars (including R Kelly, Amy Winehouse, Black Eye Peas, Chic, Joselyn Brown, Blu Cantrel, Angie Stone, Sean Paul, Wyclef Jean, Justin Timberlake, Shalamar, Christina Aguileira, Lionel Richie, Beverly Knight, Kele Le Roc, Omar, Kym Mazelle, Tom Jones, Westlife, Blue, Lee Ryan, Vanessa Haynes, Andrew Roachford, Boy George and the Culture Club, Kym Mazelle, Angie Brown, Carleen Anderson, Mary Pearce, Kele Le Roc, Mario Biondi, Izzy Dunn and the London Community Gospel Choir, Cece Rogers).
Her 1st independent solo album entitled "Don`t Fall In Love With Me" co-produced with Xantone' Blacq, features Troy Miller on drums and reached NO.2 in the UK Official Soul Music Chart in 2014.
The past 5 years Manuela has toured all over Europe and South America as lead singer of the “Amy Lives Project” founded by Xantone Blacq with the authentic members of Amy Winehouse's band.
Featured as lead vocalist in Xantone Blacq's live band performed at Jazz Cafe, Boisdale Canary wharf.
